Waterloo Park is located one of the most famous coastlines in the UK for sunsets. Looking out more or less due West across the Mersey Estuary out to the Irish Sea. You can see the outline of the Welsh Mountains. Good enough for Turner to come and stay for long periods to paint some of his beautiful paintings.
