The rental cottage has been renovated recently to an exceptionally high standard throughout. Far more than a home-from-home, the cottage provides relaxed and luxurious holiday accommodation in Eton and Windsor where self-catering accommodation is in very short supply.


Situated in the shadow of Windsor Castle, this 18th Century row of cottages is superbly located for a holiday in the Thames Valley, with two train stations providing easy access to London, as well as links to London's Heathrow airport.

COTTAGE FOR RENT

The cottage is approached down a small path between two rows of old cottages, with a front door that opens into the galley kitchen.


Equipped to the highest standard and centred on a large range-style cooker.


The living area is open plan, with comfortable seating around a fireplace and designer flat screen TV.



French doors open into the convervatory, which is furnished with classic Barcelona chairs and opens onto the small garden, from which you can walk out onto the Brocas (fields that border the River Thames).



The dinning area is elegant and refined - an impression that permeates this property - with seating for 8, making for a relaxed dining experience with friends.

RENTAL ACCOMMODATION - 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4

Accommodation comprises two spacious cottage bedrooms.

The Master Bedroom with double bed has exposed features and looks over the Brocas. There is a flat screen LCD TV attached to the wall, to the left of the window.


The Second Twin Bedroom is bright and airy with its high ceiling, large window with views of the castle and roof light. The bed can be unzipped to divide into two single beds. The property has a bathrom at the top of the stairs with a bath and shower and high quality fitting. Halogen lighting throughout the property adds to the feeling of designer elegance.

WINDSOR & ETON TOURIST INFORMATION

Eton High Street

Eton high street is simply a delight, with quaint shops, art galleries, antique shops and small cafes and wine bars. Windsor high street is a short walk away and is equally enticing, with old cobbled streets near the castle as well as larger modern shops and more cafes and restaurants that you could possible count, let alone visit in a single holiday.

Eton College

There is history at every turn, as you approach Eton School.

Eton art galleries, and the Thames bridge

Head back towards the river and cross the old road bridge, which is now pedestrianised, with views of the castle, the Eton rowing sheds and Alexandria Gardens, which often hosts either a large ferris wheel or ice rink, depending on the season. I challenge anyone to resist the Chocolate Theater Cafe opposite the Christopher Wren hotel, which servers arguably the world's best hot chocolate, before heading up Windsor High Street past the Theatre that often runs shows before they hit the West End.
