This large 18th Century farmhouse is available for self catering holidays throughout the year. The Farmhouse is situated in the beautiful village of Upton on the river Bure within Upton Broad in Norfolk England. Ideal for families sharing a holiday together, with over an acre of gardens for children and adults to explore even before heading out into the countryside. There is plenty to keep everyone occupied, from sailing and boating, to horse riding, cycling, fishing and bird watching.

The house include parking for 8 cars (or car and boat trailer combinations), as well as a double garage for keeping boats and bicycles locked away.

NORFOLK BROADS FARMHOUSE FOR RENT

The farmhouse was originally 3 cottages built over 300 years ago and was renovated in 2007. It has an open plan arrangement on the ground floor with four reception rooms, to provide spacious accommodation while retaining a cosy feel, and has been fully fitted to a high standard.


The kitchen is equipped with a full size electic range cooker, as well as a microwave, fridge freezer and all the utensiles and crockery you should need for large family meals. The dinning room has a large table and chairs to seat 13. Cots and high chairs are available for families with young children.



The owner's own home is 100 metres away and so you have the added comfort of knowing that someone is at hand should you need any assistance or suggestions on places to visit or the best places to eat out. We have found the house attracts groups of friends or two or more families who seek to enjoy the water sports of the area; the nearest stretch of waterway is less than a mile away.



The large garden has shady spots under the mature trees, with a children's play area, and enclosed ornamental pond. Since the farmhouse is in a rural area its surroundings are quiet.

There are a total of 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including the main bedroom's ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. All have views over the gardens or countryside. Bed linen and towels are supplied.

NORFOLK BROADS TOURIST INFORMATION

Norfolk Farmhouse is located within the Norfolk Broads, the internationally famous wetlands of Eastern England. The 'Broads' are Britain's largest protected wetland and third largest inland waterway and has the status of a national park. It is famous for its water sports holidays: boating, fishing, cycling, walking etc.


The village of Upton lies between Norwich and the coast, It has a shop, pub and Post Office, with a large supermarket in Acle just a mile and a half away.
