This delightful family end-terrace holiday house is situated very close to an area known by locals as the 'Golden Triangle', so called because of the high prices and constant demand for property in this sought-after residential area, irrespective of the state of the housing market.

So, here is a unique opportunity to jump the queue and sample the benefits of a town house in Windsor, without the expense or stress of a purchase!

The front entrance is set back behind elegant iron railings with a front garden that is attractive and low maintenance. Being a corner property, there are also side and rear entrances that avoid the need to carry domestic and garden loads through the front door.

The interior is light and the decoration stylish, with many original pictures and drawings providing delight for those with an appreciation of the arts.


The light hallway leads up to the first and second floors, again with beautiful drawings that add to the fresh and designer feel of this property



The patio

The entrance hall has double glazed doors that open into the drawing room and study area, which looks out onto a small patio. This patio can also be accessed from the hallway, making it convienent for the kitchen and a morning coffee!

The accommodation

The hallway leads through to the dining area and to the galley kitchen beyond. A useful utility extension has been added to this Victorian property to house a fridge/freezer and washing machine. The extension also provides access to the rear garden and garage beyond.


The master double bedroom, second double bedroom and a single bedroom are on the first floor.


The bathroom is also on the first floor and has a separate shower cubicle, and stairs lead up to the double bedroom in the attic conversion.

The attic room is rather more than an extra double bedroom. In addition to its en-suite shower room and toilet, this large room has a sitting area with TV. A perfect 'room at the top' for guests, teenagers, or indeed anyone who wants some personal space!

The gardens

The rear garden has a patio area with table for al fresco dining (additional seating is being procured), and beyond is a small lawn and planted boarders. The garden is english in essence, but has the hint of a sculptural feel, similar to properties to rent in the mediterranean.


The Area

The street of Victorian terraced and (in this case) semi-detached properties gives way to larger houses, mature trees and hedges. It ends at the junction of the road that leads into Windsor Great Park.

The walk into town is via tree-lined crescents and the Victorian backstreets.

Windsor is a tourists paradise and a must-see for most visitors from overseas, and the plethoria of quality shops, restaurants and cafes is a testament to this. Dominated by the 900 year old castle, it has many historic sites, cobbled streets, the famous public school at nearby Eton and river trips on the Thames. Children will appreciate the family owned department store Daniel (mentioned in Bill Bryson's amusing book on England) that has the largest toy department in the South East, and LegoLand, which is just minutes away.

The town has a 'Covent Garden' style area with up-market shops and numerous coffee shops, within the old station complex that was especially constructed for Queen Victoria. The original engine that pulled her royal train on tours of her country is still standing at a platform, although you are advised to take the more modern service for the 40 minute trip to London.

Heathrow airport is approximately 15 minutes by taxi.
