A stylish haven of peace right in the heart of the fascinating resort city of Nice - where the Mardi Gras was invented!
SPACIOUS NICE APARTMENT FOR RENT
This spacious Nice city apartment occupies 66 square metres on the third floor of a classic Art Deco building within easy reach of everything that Nice has to offer. It has been beautifully and stylishly restored, maintaining original features such as the tapis tile and cabochet flooring, and it is furnished in harmony with the building.
The sitting room has two sofas, an armchair, a Television with VCR and DVD player. The French Windows lead onto a sunny balcony with table and chairs and a view of the distant hills. A wonderful period lift (elevator) dispenses with the need to climb the stairs, and while fully functional it has the art-deco charm of a Hercule Poirot setting from the 1930's.
The adjoining dining area has a table and chairs for 4-6 people, and a Radio/CD/cassette player. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave/grill, fridge and dishwasher.
NICE RENTAL ACCOMMODATION (1 bedroom, sleeps 2-4 adults)
The bedroom's quiet balcony catches the morning sun in the Summer.
There is one large bedroom with a king sized bed, lots of clothes storage.
NICE, FRENCH RIVIERA TOURIST INFORMATION
Nice has SO much to offer, with more museums than other other French city outside Paris, excellent dining and entertainment, and of course the Promenade des Anglais beside the beach. There are also many historical sites to visit, and the harbour with its wide range of boats, from tiny fishing boats to huge private yachts.
You won't need a car - a boulangerie, patisserie, a fine restaurant, and a maison de la presse are all less than 2 minutes away from the apartment, and 5 minutes will get you to the excellent shopping on rue Jean Medecin. An easy walk will also get you to the colourful Old Town, or the beach.
The area is quiet at night, so after a busy day you can come back and relax in this peaceful rental apartment.

How to get Nice apartment:
"Nice Cote d'Azur" airport is about 4 miles away: a taxi should cost around 25 euros, or you can get the express bus to Gare Thiers, which is just over 10 minutes walk from the apartment. You can easily get to anywhere in the city or any of the local mountain villages by using the excellent bus service, or you can take day trips by train to Cannes, Monaco, or even Italy! <|
